About World Cargo International

World Cargo International

World Cargo International Services is a division of Alaska Air Forwarding. Founded in 1965, Alaska Air Forwarding provides the foundation for World Cargo. Businesses and individuals come to us to ship many of their important products. World Cargo thrives on the most difficult projects. We have shipped motorcycles for eco explorations to China, test cars to Europe, and materials to build military bases and civilian sites in remote areas. These and other projects were deemed too difficult for our competitors. If World Cargo can make these complicated projects run like clockwork, think of what we can do for your typical shipment. Whether it is a pallet of goods or hundreds of containers, we can get your shipment to its destination.

World Cargo is a founding member of the World Cargo Alliance (WCA). This allows us to be part of the world's largest network of independent companies determined to bring consistency and stability to international shipping. Every company that applies to join the Alliance is individually and carefully vetted to ensure standards of professionalism and experience. More than two-thirds of the applications to join the Alliance are rejected. With 3,729 members in 179 countries and 648 cities and ports, World Cargo Alliance gives World Cargo local and around the globe support. Our customers appreciate the extra benefits and assurances that belonging to the Alliance provides.

Alaska Air Forwarding

Alaska Air Forwarding is headquartered in Seattle, Washington, long considered the gateway to Alaska. Since 1965, AAF has been moving business essentials and equipment such as engines, wire, rope, magazines and perishables by air, land, and sea to Alaska.

Commercial passenger and all-cargo air carriers as well as charter aircraft are utilized depending on your needs. By using multiple air carriers AAF ensures the best price and transit times possible. This makes AAF more flexible than a single carrier option.

Once a shipment leaves the lower 48 it flies directly to its destination or to AAF's Anchorage office, where it is immediately transferred to its final destination.

When you call, you get a live person 24/7 who will treat you and your shipment with the utmost care and importance.
